Observation Facility
Yokohama Port Corporation has an observation facility installed in the berth C - 4 of Daikoku Container Terminal to attract more visitors there in order to familiarize them with container terminals.
This observation facility is located in Daikoku Terminal at the entrance of Yokohama Port. It commands a panorama of the expressway extending from the Bay Bridge to the Tsubasa Bridge and overlooks various port operations in the container terminals.

The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS Convention) was revised with 9-11 occurred in the U.S. in 2001 as a turning point, which led to reinforcement of the security system at the container terminals. Along with it, in case admission into Daikoku C4 Terminal is restricted for reasons of security control, every tour of the day is cancelled. Your kind understanding is greatly appreciated. |
